Cold War Foreign Policy

To answer this question, students must determine that Document A was written before Document B and use relevant evidence from the documents to justify their answer.

Level: Proficient

1. Student identifies that the concern over the Axis powers in Document A preceded the concerns over the spread of communism in Korea expressed in Document B.  

2. Student justifies the answer with evidence from the documents.

Level: Emergent

Student places the documents in the correct order but provides minimal supporting evidence or provides an incomplete explanation.

Level: Basic

Student incorrectly orders the documents or does not provide a relevant explanation.
